The TRM Howard Gun Club Honors the Past, Educates the Present, and Protects the Future by offering a safe space within the 2A landscape for us to learn and develop our skills without political or cultural duress. We promote responsible firearm ownership, safety, and education and training by providing free and low-cost training to underserved communities, and by maintaining a safe space for us to grow as gun owners.
We currently have 45 members, including three certified firearms instructors, two range safety officers, four Stop the Bleed Instructors and an emergency response coordinator. Our portfolio of classes includes Basic Pistol for Beginners, Gun Safety, Texas License to Carry, Texas Gun Laws, and DoW-Licensed Stop the Bleed. We also maintain a Firearms Instructor Program, give out two $500 Scholarships annually, and donate gift cards to members of the community during the holidays.
