Welcome to Sphere Research & Development (“Sphere R&D,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website (the “Site”) or purchasing any of our products, including ammunition and accessories, you (“you,” “your,” or “Customer”) agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sphere R&D and apply to all transactions and use of the Site.
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not access the Site or make a purchase.
 
1. Legal Eligibility and Federal Compliance
By purchasing from Sphere R&D, you certify that:
You are at least 18 years old to purchase rifle ammunition.
You are at least 21 years old to purchase handgun ammunition.
You are not prohibited under 18 U.S.C. § 922 or any other federal, state, or local law from owning or possessing ammunition or firearms.
You are not a convicted felon, under indictment, fugitive from justice, unlawful user of any controlled substance, or otherwise barred from owning ammunition under U.S. law.
You are a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident and are not under any restrictions that would make the purchase or possession of ammunition illegal in your jurisdiction.
It is solely your responsibility to know and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws before purchasing. Sphere R&D assumes no responsibility for any consequences resulting from the violation of any laws or regulations by the customer.
 
2. State and Local Restrictions
We do not ship to jurisdictions where ammunition sales are prohibited or restricted. This includes, but is not limited to, Washington D.C., New York City, Chicago, and international addresses. Additional restrictions apply in:
California: Ammunition must ship to an FFL or Licensed Ammunition Vendor.
New Jersey: Handgun ammo requires proof of a firearms purchaser ID card.
Connecticut: Ammo purchases require a copy of a driver’s license and one of the following: valid permit to carry a pistol/revolver, firearms eligibility certificate, or long gun/handgun certificate.
Illinois: FOID card and matching government-issued ID required.
Massachusetts: Valid LTC card required.
Hawaii/Alaska: No ammunition shipments due to air shipping restrictions.
We reserve the right to cancel any order that violates state or local law.
 
3. Fraud, False Representation, and Government Reporting
By placing an order, you affirm that all information provided is truthful and accurate. Any fraudulent use of the website or false representation of eligibility will result in cancellation of the order and may be reported to federal or local law enforcement agencies. Sphere R&D complies with and will cooperate fully with legal investigations.
 
4. Order Acceptance and Cancellation
We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our sole discretion for any reason, including but not limited to: legal non-compliance, suspected fraud, inventory issues, or security concerns.
Prices, descriptions, and availability of products are subject to change at any time without notice. An order confirmation does not guarantee fulfillment of an order.
If payment has been processed for an order that is later canceled, we will refund the full amount via the original payment method, less any applicable processing fees.
 
5. Payment Terms and Chargebacks
All payments are due at the time of purchase. We accept [insert forms of payment accepted]. By submitting your payment, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the matter is a breach of this agreement and may result in permanent termination of access to our site and legal action to recover funds, fees, and damages.

Sphere R&D does not guarantee that any of our products will function in your particular firearm. You are solely responsible for ensuring proper maintenance and safe use of any firearm in conjunction with our ammunition.
You acknowledge the inherent risks in using ammunition and agree to assume full responsibility for any resulting injury, damage, or death. Sphere R&D shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the misuse of our products.
Never use reloaded, damaged, or otherwise altered ammunition. Always follow all safety protocols, including use of eye and ear protection and ensuring compatibility with your firearm.
 
7. Website Access and Use
You may not use this Site or its content:
For any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
To solicit others to perform or participate in unlawful acts.
To violate any international, federal, state, or local regulations.
To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights.
To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Site or any related system.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms.
 
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, trademarks, product images, and software—is the property of Sphere R&D or its content providers and protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.
 
9. Export Control Laws
All products sold by Sphere R&D are subject to U.S. export laws and regulations. You agree not to export, re-export, or transfer any product in violation of such laws, including to any person on the U.S. Treasury Department’s List of Specially Designated Nationals or the U.S. Commerce Department’s Denied Persons List.
 
10. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sphere R&D and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of your access to or use of our Site or products.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sphere R&D from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
 
11. No Warranties
All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Sphere R&D disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
